Return and Exchanges
At Washakie Mountain Gear, we strive to provide friendly and fair service to our customers.
Below is our policy for returning or exchanging products.
Returns:
- Product returns for money back
- The return must be submitted via email (details below) within 45 days of the date of purchase
- Product must be in unused, resalable condition and in the original packaging
- The refund will be for the full purchase price including shipping costs (what we charged). This does not include any import fees, duties, taxes, etc. that may have been accrued when shipping to another country.
- The customer pays the cost of return shipping
- We will process the refund upon receipt and inspection of the returned product
- Returns for store credit
- Returns submitted after 45 days and not later than one year are eligible for store credit
- Product must be in unused, resalable condition and in the original packaging
- Store credit will be applied to your account upon receipt of the returned product. This credit can be applied toward the purchase of a different product.
**No returns or exchanges will be accepted for products that were purchased more than 364 days ago (one year or older).**
We are a small, family-owned company and (unfortunately) don't have unlimited resources. Therefore, to qualify for a return, each product that is returned must be in new condition so that it can be resold. This means that the product is clean (free of dirt, stains, pet hair, etc.) and is free of smells (like smoke, pet smells, etc.), and is in its original packaging.
If you would like to set up a tent or check out another piece of gear in person to make sure it fits or meets your needs, be careful to do so in a clean place so that it can be returned.
If you would like to return or exchange a product but don't believe it would qualify due to it being used, dirty, missing original packaging, or something else, please reach out to us and we'll see what we can do.
To start the return process, send us an email by clicking the “Contact Us” link at the bottom of the page and explain the product and reason for the return. Please write “RETURN” in the subject line.
Exchanges:
Products that are in unused, re-sellable condition may be exchanged for the same product of a different color or size within one year (365 days) of the purchase date. You pay the shipping costs for returning the product, and we will pay the shipping cost of sending the new product to you.
Once we have received the qualifying product, we will ship out the new product to you.
